Shimmerstone No. 60

Layers of colour are applied to the back of four glass stones to make stunning, unique cabochons. Everyone who sees these are captivated by the depth and luminescence of the colour. Glittery flakes of purple and blue colour mingle against a black background like a starry night sky, and when angled the right way, the glitter can change shade, much like dichroic glass. No mere photograph can capture the look of these stones (though I do my best); they must be seen in person. Imagine incorporating these into stitched beadwork, bottle cap designs, magnets, home decor, and the list goes on! When the light hits groups of these, the natural harmony creates a mellow mood. Even holding them in your hand is pleasing and calming.
